^^ agreed.
But cmon, what skills stick out at you in RoJ/CoP UWSC..
2 Skills, RoJ and CoP, now you use your nugget (Brain) CoP requires a Hex, perhaps a cheap one like fragility, RoJ would be nice with Arcane Echo, thats 4 skills, now you have 4 left to put in whatever the hell you want. Personally i wouldnt use AoS because its crap when killing numbers less than 10 in 5 seconds imo.

no it's not required, and as stated above those are the core 4 skills...auspicious incantation for e-management, patient spirit or equivalent heal to keep sin alive at wrathful spirits, rebirth for obvious reasons, and ural's hammer for extra damage is recommended. gl

AoS isnt required in anything. The skill really isnt as good as people make it out to be.

disagree with you here. it's great if you're killing a lot of things in a short period of time. the only real time it's useful in uwsc, though, is when the chamber is drawing aggro at the very beginning and killing the mindblades after the escort quest. it's really kind of meh during the vale quest since you're only killing 3 enemies at a time.

From my experience Ive only used AoS twice. 1 raptor farming and 2 gloom farming.
Both of which i switched out for By Urals Hammer and more damager for a faster farm.

I find it quite useless, really. It would be much more practical to bring an extra heal or some other damage skill, since usually you arent killing a much bigger group than 3 or 4.

Thats depends on how big pull your perma does, however I do agree its basically useless. You might get 2 recharges tops the whole run. IMO its not worth it.

The answer is no.
I assume you're looking at the wiki build...for roj monk vale support uwsc.
A good skill in its place is smite condition(you already have 16 in smiting for roj) the valesin will be using chillblains which poisons him u can then remove this condition when his bar goes green saving him losing some health and also doing 67 holy damage to the surrounding foes.

I use that. Mindbender lets you get 4 RoJ's off instead of just 3. :]

You could get off 4 if you waited for the echo one to recharge. I watched a video and he got off 3 because he casted the normal RoJ a second time instead of the echo one first. Though it didnt matter at that point, but still you can get off 4 without mindbender.

Response to your question, No Air is really not that great as most enemies will die at once if nuking is done correctly so the benefit of recharge isn't that great. However, you build should be in coordination with you vale sin.
Honestly IMAO you would not use an rojer if the vale sin is a/n, as there is really no point to his chill, which will only remove one enchant from each soul. However if your vale sin insists on going A/N then bring smite condition. Personally I like to go Vale terra (provides more versatility to cover) and have my rojer bring more sources of dmg, I absolutely love it when the roj brings GDW I switch to my zealous scythe and rake away at the souls allowing for spamming of stone-flesh, shadow refuge, and aftershock on KDs which is just as effective as using chill.
As for your bar if you want to use CoP I would suggest a spec to domination instead of inspiration, drop auspicious for empathy for your hex. You may think this would cause energy problems however this really gets the job done fast.
